Alentejo DOC, 2012, Cuvee 14.0% Premium
Cuvee of Aragonez and Cabernet Sauvignon, Steel vats with temperature control, long maceration; 12 months in new French oak barrels.
Deep Garnet color, A fruity complex of very ripe blackberries and green bell pepper in deep harmony, hints of smoke. Silky, warm, elegant; the ripe blackberries and the green bell pepper again in the mouth, round tannins in total harmony with the toast and the acidity; a very long, persistent finish.
Tasting notes:
2018.10.13: From Now onward, the wine is absolutely ready for drinking, great dark and rich ruby red wine color, elegant with good bouquet. Hint of tobacco was on and on. You are suggest to let it breath for half an hour before serving. On the other hand, why not enjoy and observe the development of the aromas by letting the oxidation conduct in your wine glasses and then sipping it little by little.
