Flemlinger Vogelsprung, 2011, Scheurebe 8.0% Spätlese Koch 2011 Scheurebe,
This bottle of wine is a holder of Gold medal from the Landwirtschaftskammer Rheinland-Pfalz.
Scheurebe has all the reasons to be popular in Hong Kong & China; it is rich in flavor, excellent fruitiness & floral scent. Once you have a taste of it you would in love with this beautiful variety & wine.
It offers freshly crisp due to its lively acidity, very aromatic and fruity, exotic with lime, a touch of honey with aroma of black currant and ripe pineapple, white peach and pink grapefruits. A noble sweet and ideal Dining companion, especially Asian cuisine to spicy.
This wine works well with our Chinese dishes, sweet, sour as well as spicy food. Charcoal grilled sea bass, Sichuan Ma Po Tofu; Dan Dan noodles, Under Bridge Spicy Crab or any seafoods, Tandoori chicken , potatoes wrapped in Parma ham, tomato confit, and croutons with sea bass tartar, black olive oil, green beans and quail eggs.
Sometimes simply just delicious sipping the wine with group of friend in the week end afternoon.
The aroma and the responses from palate were rich minerality with a touch of petrol, and fruity sweet when a bottle of this wine opened and tested at the end of May 2016. What a beautiful wine!
